Lucille Baldocchi, 92, of 1033 Garfield Ave., Beloit, Wis., died Friday, Sep. 17, 1993 at home.
She was born Jul. 20, 1902 in Kaukauna, Wis., the daughter of Frank and Janet Lamhi Grezka. She married Phillip Baldocchi on Sep. 1, 1920 in Rockford, Ill. He died Sep. 14, 1956.
She was employed by J. Brewer Women's Apparel and Kreske's in downtown Beloit, where she worked as a clerk, retiring in 1969. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Marcene (Joseph) Carroll of Beloit; two grandchildren, Dennis (Chris) Carroll of Beloit, and Lana Lynn (Thomas) Ahlquist of Loves Park, Ill; eight great-grandchildren, Marcy (Matt) Diwo of Loves Park, Ill., Phillip (Jill) Ahlquist of Virginia, Mary (Mark) Shaw of Machesney Park, Ill., Denny (Theresa) Carroll, Kim Carroll, and Chris Talbot, all of Rockford, Ill., Brian Herbat and Steven Herbat, both of Beloit; seven great-great-grandchildren, Francis and Ryan Shaw, Megan and Michael Diwo, Mathew Carroll, Nicholas Ahlquist and Lauren Talbot; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, two brothers and one sister.
Prayer services will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday, Sep. 20, 1993 in the Daley, Murphy, Wisch and Associates Funeral Home, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, and a funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1 p.m. Monday in St. Jude Catholic Church with Father James Murphy from St. Edward's Catholic Church, Rockford, Ill., officiating. Burial will be held in Mount Thabor Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home, with a Scripture service at 7:30 p.m.
