Gordon L. Edwards was my father. He was a good and honorable man, devoted to his wife, Ruth, his children, Laura (me), Betty, Lavon, and Lee, to his church, and to helping people. Though growing weak with age, he died of heart failure after a week in the hospital. He loved life so much and was always ready for anything that came up.
I will never stop missing him.
