Ethel Lulu Scott Taylor, age 86, died May 10, 1991 in Lakeview, Utah.

She was born on July 13, 1904 in Lakeview, Utah, a daughter of Charles Kennedy and Lulu Agnes Dilatush Scott.

She married Elton LeRoy Taylor on March 31, 1926 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

She graduated with the first graduating class of Lincoln High School in Orem, Utah, then entered nurses training at Provo General Hospital.

She later worked at the Aird Clinic and in private duty practice for local doctors.

Ethel made her first home in Pleasant Grove, Utah, later moving to Price, Utah where she worked at Dixon-Taylor-Russell Co. as a bookkeeper and sales clerk.

After living in Price for 31 years, she returned to Lakeview in 1960.

She was an active member of the LDS Church working in all of the auxiliaries.

For many years, she served as a lesson leader for the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and was a member of the Acacia Literary Club.

She is survived by her husband, Lakeview, Utah; two sons and two daughters, James Scott Taylor of Orem, Utah; Paul Scott Taylor of Golden, Colorado; Mrs. Kenneth R. (Julia) Anderson of Provo, Utah; Mrs. Clifford A. (Louise) Woodruff of Price, Utah; 23 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; one sister, Lida Alice Tucker of Ventura, California.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 1991 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lakeview 1st Ward LDS Chapel, 1350 North Geneva Road, Provo.

Friends may call at the Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 East Center, on Tuesday evening, 6-8 p.m. or at the ward chapel on Wednesday, one hour prior to services.

Interment, Provo City Cemetery.
