Beatrice Snider Cartner, 73, 3825 Stokes Ferry Road, died July 7, 1994 at the Salisbury Lutheran Nursing Home. She had been seriously ill for two months.
She was born Feb. 19, 1921, in Davie County. She was employed by Cannon Mills Co. and was a homemaker.
Survivors include sons Terry D. Cartner, Concord, and James S. Cartner Jr., Greenville, S.C.; daughter Margalene Burwell and husband, Larry, of Salisbury; brother S. D. Snider, of Cleveland; sisters Norene Foster, of Cleveland, Joyce Eagle, of Salisbury; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Smoot Cartner, Sr.
