Daughter of Hugh Alexander and Ann Alexander Alexander.

Wife of Joseph Poinsett; his whereabouts are not indicated in family group sheet information for the Alexander family.

The exact location of Sarah's burial is not known, although it is believed to be in this Fairfield City Cemetery. Perhaps in Lot 8 or 183 where other family members are buried.

The very sudden death of Mrs. Sarah A. POINSETT, of Pneumonia, in this city, Friday, was a painful surprise to many who were her warm friends.... Mrs. POINSETT's age was 65 years, and she had been a resident of this city 31 years of that time. Her struggles in life had been many, but in spite of all adversities of fortune, by her own energetic labor, she had reared her family to man and womanhood, and her life work was almost done.

Mrs. Sarah POINSETT who died last Friday morning.... was a sister of Mr. W. K. ALEXANDER, this city, and came here from Bedford County, Penn., in 1849. She was the mother of four children, three of whom are yet living.

Daughter of Hugh Alexander and Ann Alexander Alexander.
