He Married Amanda (Lockman) Hollowell on January 6, 1849, in Bartholomew County, Indiana. He was residing in Columbus Townshipip at the time of his death but is most likely buried near his father, on Lot 50, Original Burial Grounds East, Columbus City Cemetery.
