Mahala H. Foster-Kesler died at her old home in Weston, Ohio, Friday afternoon, July 23, 1937. Her death was due to the infirmities of old age. She was 79 years 5 months and 30 days old at the time of her death.
Mahala H. Foster was born on a farm north of West Milgrove on January 24th, 1858. On January 19, 1880 she was united in marriage to William H. Kesler, who still survives his companion.
There is only one brother, Chris, left of a family of ten children. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Foster, three sisters and five brothers having preceded her in death. She leaves her husband, William Kesler and one brother, Chris Foster of Mt. Pleasant, Mich., and nieces and nephews to mourn her loss. Interment at West Milgrove, beside her mother and father.
Hain as she was always known, was always ready to help those she thought more needy than herself.
But her work on this earth is done, her chair is vacant and she has gone home to rest and loved ones. To the Home where there is no death, no pain, no sorrow. She has heard the words of the Blessed Savior, "Well done thou good and faithful servant, come unto me and rest."
