Services Saturday For E.W. Frazier
Funeral services for E.W. Frazier were held Saturday afternoon in the Baptist church, Rev. C.N. Price had charge of the service.
Edward Wyatt Frazier was born June 4, 1860 in Indiana, and died at the age of 85 years, 2 months and 19 days. He was married to Eliza Jane Queen in November, 1887 in Forsyth, Mo. To them were born eight children. Mrs. Frazier preceded him in death in 1932.
The children are: E.B. Frazier, Montague, Texas; Mrs. Mary Hayes, San Jose, Calif.; Mrs. Ida Taylor, Fayetteville, Ark.; Mrs. Rosa Adams, Anadarko; Mrs. Dora Combs, Wichita Falls, Texas; Mrs. Ruth Woods, Henrietta, Texas; Mrs. Mae Queen, and R.E. Frazier of Carnegie. Also three sisters and two brothers; Mrs. Mary McClellan, Lawrence, Kans.; Mrs. Ida Stanhope, Cook, Wash.; Mrs. Ella Moon, Salinis, Calif.; Charlie Frazier, Green Forest, Ark.; Robert Frazier, Mobile, No.; and 46 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
Mr. Frazier was the son of a Baptist minister and joined the church at the age of 12. He was an active Christian until his later years when poor health prevented him from attending church.
