Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at the West Mountain Church of Christ with Carl Tyson and the Rev Herman Reagh officiating. Burial will be in the West Mountain Cemetery under the direction of the Malcolm Stone Funeral Home.
Mrs Phillips was born in the East Mountain community and was a resident there all her life. She was the wife of the late C. Y. Phillips, who died in 1961. She was a long-time member of the West Mountain Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Z. L. Phillips and J.A. Phillips, both of Gladewater; two daughters, Mrs Ethel Thompson of Gladewater and Mrs Ola Vick Kennedy of Kermit; one brother, Calvin Owens of White Oak; three sisters, Mrs Eunice Wright and Mrs Myrtle Latham, both of White Oak and Mrs Dessie Freeman of Chalk Hill; 13 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will be pallbearers. Pallbearers include Donald Edwards, Gary Edwards, Dwight Edwards, Delbert Sprague, Delton Nicholson, and Charles Clair.
