Funeral Services for Louis E. Bronoel 61, former Ontonagon resident will be held at the Allen Cane Funeral Home Sunday, under the Auspices of the Masonic order. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Mr. Bronoel died Thursday at the Minnesota Soldier's Home in Minneapolis after a lengthy illness.

He spent most of his life as a telegrapher for the Soo Line Railroad. He made his home in Minneapolis until 1916.

He served in the armed forces during WW1 as a member of the signal reserve corps and served overseas from early in 1917 until August of 1919.

Mr. Bronoel was born Oct. 9, 1889 at Iron River, the son of the late Joseph F. Bronoel of Ontonagon. He is survived by his stepmother, Mrs. Ida Bronoel, one sister Mrs. Irene Kehoe, Marinette, Wi, one half-sister, Mrs. Louis Gauthier, Ontonagon, 3 half-brothers, Joel of Duluth, Dan of Green Bay, and Robert of Appleton, Wi and several nieces and nephews.
