Miguel, a lifelong resident of Santo Niño, passed away at the family home. He was predeceased by his parents Epifanio Atencio and Gregorita Gomez. He was survived by his wife Cordelia; a daughter Sister Emelia of Ranchos de Taos; sons Willie and Isaac of Santo Niño and Eugene Phillip of Santa Fe; sister Grace Atencio of Santo Niño; 4 grandchildren; and other relatives.
A Rosary was held 14 February at Holy Cross Church in Santa Cruz. Funeral services were 15 February followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.
