Puryear, 88, of Greenville,
Miss., and formerly of
Bryant, Ark., were at 2:30
p.m. Monday, June 28, 2010,
at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills
Funeral Home, Alexander,
Ark.
She went home to be with the Lord on
June 25, 2010. Burial was in Pinecrest
Memorial Park, under the direction
of Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home.
She was born in Nashville,
Ark. on January 16, 1922, to
her late parents Andrew S.
Balch and Sarah J. Young.
Laura was a member of Indian
Springs Baptist church in
Bryant. In addition, she enjoyed
gardening, sewing and
was a homemaker.
Survivors include her three
children, Sarah Louise Panni
(Bobby) of Greenville, Odell
Puryear (Carol) of Haskell,
Ark. and Steve Puryear of
Malden, Mo.; seven grandchildren;
eight great-grandchildren;
and two great-greatgrandchildren.
A visitation was held one
hour prior to service time.
