Her father is William C. Gill (7178676).
Leah comes from a large family--13 children, including a twin sister, Sarah Arabella, after whom, I'm sure her daughter Sarah Leah was named.

Let's start from scratch. (The link to William Gill will link to the children found on Find a Grave.)
"Gill is the daughter of William C. Gill and his first wife Harriett Morgan of Lee County, Georgia. The couple had 11 children--Frances Jane, Martha Ellen [Sullivan], Peter Phypus, John Forsythe, twins Leah Arvilla and Sarah Arabella [Sullivan], Burmah Eugenia, Calvin Luther, Harriet Elizabeth [Nobles], Josephine, and California [Johnson]. After Harriett's death, William married her sister Nancy Morgan. They had three children--William Perry, Rachel, and Lou A. Gill.
Leah was raised in Georgia, where she met her husband Eli S. McCorkle, a carpenter. They had four children--Catherine, Sarah, William, and Robert. By 1880, the family had moved to Fayette, Texas. After her husband's death, Leah lived with her daughter Sarah Leah (Sallie) Scott in Lueders, Jones County, Texas."
Because there were so many children, Carla, you can imagine there are many family historians out there. Your adding a biography will help them. If I find Eli, I'll let you know. He may be buried back in Fayette. More and more Texas documents are becoming readily available.
