In June, 1928, Oliver married Agnes Morningstar. In 1923 they adopted Mary, the daughter of Ina and Vern Harris, and on December 14, 1932, their son, Oliver Jr. (Ott) was born. Oliver died on July 5, 1955. Agnes died February 15, 1968. Oliver, Adria and Agnes are interred in the Mennonite cemetery.
