Mrs. Harmon was born August 10, 1890, in Burr Oak Township of Mitchell County. She attended the Cedar Valley Seminary in Osage and Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls. She taught school in Lamont, Little Cedar and several country schools in Burr Oak Township. In 1949 she moved to Osage. She was a member of the MI Club, the United Methodist Church in Osage and the United Methodist Women.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Survivors include one son, Ross of Osage, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
