Thera Angell

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 25, 1984, at Champion Funeral Home in Osage for Thera Angell, 89, of Osage. She died Wednesday, August 22, 1984, at the White House Nursing Home.

Reverend John Gilbert officiated at the service with burial in the Osage Cemetery.

Thera was born September 4, 1894 in Mitchell County, the daughter of Walter and Eldie (Benedict) Angell. She attended Burr Oak No. 1 School and Osage High School. During high school she studied music at Cedar Valley Seminary, Osage. She also attended business college in Mankato, Minnesota. She was a business lady all her life and was employed by Judge Lee of Ames for many years. Upon retirement she made her home at the Mayflower Home in Grinnell.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Steward, Rollin and Howard.

Survivors include one brother, Merlyn of Osage and several nieces and nephews.
