Jesse Mitchell died at his home, three miles southeast of the city, at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, of a complication of ailments. He was 50 years, 10 months and 9 days of age, and is survived by his wife Leah, and the following children: Amsa Mitchell, of Elkhart, and Mabel, Elmer, Ceylo and Carol Mitchell, all of the homestead. The funeral services will be held at the Rowe church at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, conducted by Rev. S. Heininger. Mr. Mitchell was a brother of John Mitchell, of this city, who died on Jan. 8.
