Mrs. Busch was born Sept. 30, 1925, in Krakow, the daughter of David Hoelscher and wife Francis, nee Westholter.
She was a member of Assumption Catholic Church, New Haven.
Mrs. Busch worked as a cook at Irene's Restaurant, New Haven, for over 25 years. She worked at Cedar Creek Conference Center, New Haven, from 1997 until her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Carol Busch; one brother, Mike Hoelscher; four sisters, Alvina Hoelscher, Gertrude Alfermann, Mamie Spaunhorst and Francis Voss; and one grandson, Ryan Novotney.
Mrs. Busch is survived by four sons, William, Kevin and Tom Busch and special friend Debbie Haley, all of New Haven, and James Busch and wife Linda, Berger; six daughters, Donna Busch, Mary Goodwin, Kathy Trentmann and Melissa Evans and husband Tracy, all of New Haven, Judy Detjen and husband Kenny, Bland, and Georgia Novotney and husband John, Gerald; one brother, Anthony Hoelscher and wife Betty, Washington; three sisters, Tootsie Sieve, Veronica Elbert and husband John Joseph and Katie Hoelscher, all of Krakow; 25 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 3, at Assumption Church, New Haven, with Father John Deken and Father Eric Kuntz officiating.
Interment was in the church cemetery.
