Callie Spence Eanes, 77, of Christiansburg, passed away Monday, November 23, 1998 at Montgomery Regional Hospital. She is survived by one son, Leslie Eldridge Eanes of Christiansburg; sisters, Loma Martin of Willis, Flora Pugh of Vinton; brothers, Fray Spence of Willis, Roy Spence of Floyd, Dot Spence of Harve de Grace, Md.; a great-niece, Tina Pino; a great-nephew, Merritt Pino; special nieces, Emily Soverns, Sarah Patton, all of Roanoke; a special nephew, P.L. ("Dude") Griffith of Christiansburg; and numerous other special nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Friday, November 27, at Richardson-Horne Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by Mr. James Bayne. Interment in Sunset Cemetery. Friends may call anytime after noon Wednesday at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and anytime Friday.
