Sergeant Major Clarence J. Biddle, 74, Indianapolis, was an Army Veteran of World War II and a National Guard veteran. He was a life member of the National Guard Association and a member of the National Association for Uniformed Services. He was also a member of South Irvington Church of the Nazarene.

Sergeant Major (Retired) Clarence J. Biddle, age 74 passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2001.

Sergeant Major Biddle served in the U.S. Army from July 1945 until July 1946.

He enlisted in Headquarters & Headquarters Company, 38th Infantry Division on August 21, 1950 and served until August 20, 1953. He reenlisted on June 23, 1954 and served until his retirement on May 7, 1987.

Sergeant Major Biddle also served as 1st Sergeant of the 38th Administration Company.
