Funeral services for Albert Barry, age 48, were held from the Methodist Church. The Rev. Joseph Oatey officiated.
The deceased was born in Canada July 18, 1889. He came to the lower peninsula with his parents as a young boy. He had been a resident of Ontonagon for the past 32 years. For a number of years he was employed by the firm of Halter & LeMoine and later by the Ontonagon Fibre Corp. He also had been working as a painter.
Mr. Barry had been in ill health for about a year and dropped dead in the yard in front of his home Thursday morning from a heart ailment while talking to a friend.
Surviving him are 3 sons, Norval & Ralph of Ontonagon, Albert of Chicago & 3 daughters Thora, Vivian & Rosalind of Ontonagon, 1 sister, Mrs. E. Switzski of Port Huron, Mi. & 3 brothers Oliver of Puyalub Valley, Washington, Merritt of Tacoma, Washington & Wesley of Port Huron.
Interment at the Riverside Cemetery. Pallbearers are Ed Carroll, Ed Millard, Ed Englund, Norman Pennock, Alphonse
