Ralph Vernon, 90, died September 30, 1998 in Oklahoma City. Born May 21, 1908 in Guthrie, OK. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Martha, son David James and his wife Elizabeth of Stillwater, OK; daughter Ann Millerborg and her husband Rubin of Piedmont, OK; four grandchildren, Kelly Padgham and her husband Michael of Edmond, OK, Jim Millerborg and his wife Tiffany of Wichita, KS, Christopher James of Seattle, WA, Mary Ann Sanders and her husband Tim of Edmond, OK; 2 great grandchildren, Kylie and Brant Millerborg of Wichita, KS; brother Vern James and his wife Lois of Tulsa, OK; brother Otho James and his wife Virginia of Enid, OK. He was predeceased by brother Clem James of Atlanta, GA, and sister Dolores Edenborough of Okmulgee, OK. He was retired from the U.S. Army where he earned the rank of Colonel He was an Elder Emeritus at Crown Heights Christian Church.
