SWEATMAN, Martha Leonnie, 85, Ripley, died November 18, 1980 in Tippah County Hospital. She was a housewife, a member of Golden Hill Methodist Church and daughter of the late Bill Kincade and Ellen Barnes, and widow of the late William Bryan Sweatman. Services were November 20 at 2 pm in McBride Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Criswell Cemetery. Bro Spurgeon Mullikin officiated. Survivors include seven sons, Clyde Sweatman, Mobile, AL, Clifford Sweatman, Pontiac, MI, Truman Sweatman, Corinth, J.B., Eudean, Charles Sweatman, all of Ripley, and Billy Gene Sweatman, Horn Lake; two daughters, Myrtle Robbins, Ripley and Beatrice Mauney, Southaven; 14 grandchildren; 11 ggrandchildren. Pallbearers were Marlin Grisham, Cleatus Robbins, Danny Mauney, Larry Mauney, Fagin Sweatman and Earnest Sweatman.
