Mr. Chambers is survived by his wife, Dorothy Chambers; two sons, Michael Chambers of Sedalia and Jason Carlton of Farmington; two daughters, Tammy Chambers Veeneman of Brookville, Ind., and Bridgie Houghtby of Farmington; his mother, Elizabeth Chambers of Tri-City; three brothers, Bo Chambers of Paris, Tenn., Jerry Chambers of Lynnville and Joe Ben Chambers of Tri-City; three sisters, Linda Walker and Darlene Alford, both of Lynnville, and Anna Reed of Lowes; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hulon Chambers; two brothers; and one grandchild.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Byrn Funeral Home. The Rev. Gayle Barnes will officiate, with interment in Lynnville Pentecostal Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
