Mrs. Wm. F. Goltz Died Yesterday
Mrs. Dora Goltz, 67, wife of William F. Goltz, died at 7:30 yesterday morning at the family home southeast of Hartford, her death following a long illness. Funeral rites for her will be held at the home at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon, Rev. A. E. Murphy of the Federated church officiating, and interment will be at Maple Hill. Born at Naperville, Ind. on March 20, 1868, the deceased was married to Mr. Goltz at Wheaton, Ill., May 28, 1888. They resided in Chicago until 1913 when they came to Hartford and had since made this community their home. Both Mr. and Mrs. Goltz have been well known and highly regarded in this community, Mr. Goltz serving as the first village mail carrier and having been engaged in other business and farming enterprises. Besides the husband she is survived by one son, Rev. Wm. E. Goltz of Hartford. She also leaves three sisters, Mrs. Emma Rawson, Adams, Okla.; Mrs. George A. Fey, Chicago; and Mrs. Lily Anderson, Batavia, Ill.; and two brothers, Walter Harding, Ritchy, Ill., and Adam Harding, Dayton, Wash.
