SMITH CENTER -- Katherine Heide, 82, Smith Center, died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2003,
Mrs. Heide was born Katherine Bell on Nov. 2, 1921, at Harlan. She was a retired sales clerk and homemaker.
Her husband, Don, died in 1994.
Survivors include a son, Stephen of Downs; a daughter, Linda Nga of Parkville, Mo.; a brother, Roy Dean Bell of Gaylord; three sisters, Shirley Luft of Har¬lan, Carolyn Gentzler of Portis and Connie Orvig of Emory, Texas; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church, Downs. Burial will be in Gaylord Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Lakeside High School and Lakeside Elementary School, both of Downs, in care of Domoney Funeral Home, P.O. Box 127, Downs, KS 67437.
