Mrs. Hart, wife of John Hart and mother of D. J. Hart, of this city, died at her home northeast of town last Thursday night, Aug. 28th, aged 80 years, 11 months and 11 days.

She had been a resident of this county for many years, and was greatly loved and respected by all who knew her. She had been a member of the M. E. Church for forty years, and was a consistent Christian.

The funeral services were held at the house of her son-in-law, Peter Vanalstine, Friday afternoon, Rev. J. G. H. Armitstead preaching the funeral sermon. The remains were interred in the Gaylord Cemetery.
