Mrs. Hebert was born April 4, 1880 in Illinois and resided in Springfield for one year. Her husband, Emery J., died one year ago to the day of her death on Nov. 24, 1954.
She is survived by one son, Lonnie Hopwood, of Springfield; two brothers, Buell Bess, of Vandalia; and Niles Bess, of Nokomis; five sisters, Mrs. Edith Carter and Mrs. Gus Six, both of Fillmore; Mrs. Harold Mattes and Mrs. Ernest Himes, both of Vandalia; and Mrs. Lloyd McFadden, of the state of Oregon; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The body was taken to the Vancil funeral home where funeral services were held.
The body was removed to the Dodds-Dumanois funeral home, Flint, Mich. and further services were held there.
Burial was in Flint Memorial cemetery.
