Ida Gisclair
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 3 p.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano for Ida Griffin Gisclair, 73, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Cut Off, who died at 6:57 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23.
Burial will be in Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
She was the mother of Robert A. "Bobby" and James M. "Jimmy" Gisclair; sister of Mrs. Jeff Alario. She is also survived by two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ulysses Gisclair; parents, Paul Hampton and Oxcelia Crosby Griffin; three brothers, George, Levy and Eddie Griffin; and four sisters, Angeline Angelette, Vienna Martin, Ada Fillinich and Lovenia Griffin.
She was a parishioner of St. Joseph.
