Reva Alene Gardner, 83, of Fancy Gap, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009 at her home. Mrs. Gardner was preceded in death by her parents, William & Mary Martin Webb, four brothers; three sisters; a son-in-law, Ronald Belcher; and a grandson Christopher Belcher.

She is survived by her husband, Lester Z. Gardner, of the home; two daughter & son-in-law; Darlene & Vance Wyrick, Wytheville; Reva Fay Gardner & Friend Steven Lamb, Hillsville; two grandchildren; several nieces & nephews also survive.

Funeral services were conducted on Monday, November 2, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel, with Rev. Wendell Horton, and Rev. David Johnson officiating. Burial followed in the Independence Cemetery.

The family received friends on Monday, November 2, 2009 from 10:00 until service time at 11:00 AM. Donations may be made to Independence Cemetery. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
