She was the mother of Lintas Vegas, and Elva Bruce; the grandmother of 18, the great grandmother of 53 and the great great-grandmother of 23.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Joseph Vegas.
Parents Alex and Delaide Cantrell Pitre.
Her son Roman Vegas, her daughters Mathilda Guilbeau and Arnie Guidry; her brother Eli Pitre and her sister Viola Gisclair.
