Violet L. Adams, 90, Plover, died Monday, Aug. 20, 2007, at St. Micheal's Hospital in Stevens Point.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Hardell-Holly Funeral Home in Almond, with the Rev. David Leistra officiating. Interment will be in the Almond Village Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. Friday until the services.

Mrs. Adams was born July 4, 1917, in the town of Belmont, a daughter of the late Alfonso and Blanche (Ellis) Miner.
She was married to John Q. Adams on Nov. 8, 1934, in the town of Belmont. She was a seamstress and baker her entire life.
Survivors include her husband, Plover; one daughter, Margaret (Harlan) Bender, Bancroft; and one granddaughter, Wendy (Jeff) Rowsam, Denmark.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Leland, Lloyd and Stillman Miner; two sisters, Jessie Pankin and Isabelle Hoffman; and her foster parents, Walter and Martha Yohn and Chester and Lena Taylor.
