Adam Cheramie
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow for Adam J. Cheramie, 78, a native of Larose and resident of Galliano who died at 3 p.m. Jan. 25, 1999.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at the church.
Interment will be in the Cheramie cemetery in Galliano.
He was the father of Larry, Glenn and Cindy Cheramie, Karen Plaisance and Eurelda Burkett; brother of Lucille Pitre and Lorena St. Pierre. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Eymard Cheramie; parents, George and Margaret Vegas Cheramie. He was also preceded in death by a grandchild, Scott Plaisance.
He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow.
