Charlotte Rice Terry died Sunday morning at the home of her daughter in York township after an illness of several months, age 81. She was born Aug. 17, 1843 in Milan township, on what was known as the Rice homestead, being the daughter of Josephus and Mary Rice, who took up land from the government in 1836. On Feb. 22, 1866, she married Sidney B. Montonye, and they had four children: Mrs. Florence Sanford of Milan, Mrs. Flora Osborn of Ann Arbor; Mrs. Ida Forbes, deceased, and Marshall Montonye of Milan. In 1915 she was married to Mr. Terry. For 54 years she was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church at Mooreville. Funeral was held at residence of her daughter Mrs. Sanford, Rev. C. L.
