Albert William (also found as William Albert) was the fourth of twelve children of Frederick Gross and Sarah Ann (Moore) Hake. He worked as a grocer and was in St. Louis at the time of his death. According to Missouri death records, he died at the age of 25 of Typhoid Fever (he was actually 23 years, 4 months and 7 days old). His remains were returned to Manchester, York, PA for burial.
