On June 15, 1963, she married Allen Leroy Bakke in Las Vegas at the Little White Chapel. The couple resided in California before moving to rural Elbow Lake. Sharon worked at Fingerhut in Alexandria for three years as a bookkeeper.
On Friday, November 27, 2009 Mrs. Allen, Sharon Evangeline Bakke of rural Elbow Lake died at the Knute Nelson Nursing Home in Alexandria at the age of 66.
She was a member of the United Lutheran Church of Elbow Lake.
Preceding her in death were her parents; an infant daughter Connie Mae who died in 1967.
Her family includes her husband, Allen of rural Elbow Lake, a son, Arvid Todd Bakke of Alexandria, also several brothers and sisters, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Memorials are preferred to the Grant County Food Shelf.
Visitation: One hour prior to the services at the church.
Service: 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 4, at United Lutheran Church of Elbow Lake.
