KEN E. BRICKHOUSE
SMITHFIELD - Ken Edward Brickhouse, 52, died Wednesday, Jan. 25, in Maryview Hospital.
He was a native of Norfolk County and was a Baptist.
A U.S. Air Force veteran of Korea, he retired as body and fender repairman from Cumbia Body Shop, Portsmouth.
Survivors include his wife, JoAnn P. Brickhouse; three daughters, Terri L. Bell of Chesapeake, Diane Haire of Newport News and Barbara J. Combs of Smithfield; three sisters, Kitty Ashley of Barco, N.C., June Hunter of Chesapeake and Ann Neal of Kitty Hawk, N.C.; and four grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Sturtevant Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. T.M. Frye. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens , Chesapeake.
The family will receive friends from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters.
