Funeral Services Are Held In Dunlap for Lawrence Daily, Sr.


Funeral services for Lawrence Daily, 67, who passed away at St. Francis hospital Sunday at 4:05 p.m. were held at St. Clements church in Dunlap Wednesday morning. Mr. Daily who had been failing for some time became seriously ill two weeks ago and gradually grew weaker until the end.


He was a resident of Dunlap community for a number of years. Interment was in St. Mary's cemetery in Kickapoo.

A son of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Daily he was born August 12, 1884 at Edwards. Mr. Daily was a member of St. Clement's church in Dunlap and was road commissioner for Radnor township. He formerly farmed near Kickapoo and Dunlap.


Survivng are his mother of Kickapoo; his widow; eight sons, Timothy and Clifford of Chicago, Donald, Everett and George of Dunlap, Edward of Peoria, Louis of Princeville, Lawrence Daily, Jr., Alaska; one daughter Elizabeth Daily of Dunlap; one son, Henry and one daughter Frances preceded him in death. Two grandchildren also survive.
