She died in an Auto accident by hitting a Drewry's beer truck stalled on old 25 North of Findlay, Ohio in front of what is now Whirlpool, in the night time hours. No Flares or advisory devices were on the road to warn of potential hazard, she was a passenger in the car.
Children were Norris, Charles, James, Kenneth, Elwood, Genevieve (Sharninghouse-Jones), Martha (McCartney-Jones), and stepdaughter Lillie Jones Eckman.
