Roger D. Vincent, Sr., age 53, Council Bluffs, passed away at his home December 10, 2007.

He was born in Council Bluffs, August 30, 1954, to Alfred E. and Jennie A. (Lear) Vincent. He was a lifetime resident here and a contractor in construction work.

Survivors include his longtime companion, Virginia Graham, Council Bluffs; daughter, Dawn Vincent-Graef, Council Bluffs; sons, Al Vincent and wife, Tamra, Highlands Ranch, Colo., Roger D. Vincent, Jr., Clarinda, Iowa; 5 grandchildren; father, Alfred E. Vincent and wife, Connie, Council Bluffs; brother, Alfred E. Vincent, Jr., and wife, Bonnie, Ferndale, Wash.; sister, Denise Germano and husband, Steven, Pen Argyle, Pa.; nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Dr. E. A. Hering will officiate. Cremation will follow the service. Memorials directed by the family.
