Dead on arrival, 8:32 a.m., Monday, at Medial Center Hospital, after an extended illness.
Service: 1 p.m., Thursday at the Ware Funeral home, the Rev. Ted Mendenhall officiating.
Calling hours: at the funeral home after 4p.m., Wednesday.
Burial: Liberty Hill Christian Union Church Cemtery.
Survivors: his mother, Mary Rinehart Hutchison, Route 7; his widow, the former Roxie Bridenbaugh Cook, whom he married in 1972; four sons, Elza, Chillicothe, Charles Jr. and Carl Edward, both of Route 8, and Carl Lee; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Goldie Basye, Route 10, Mrs. Carl (Ruby) Ray, Route 5, and Mrs. Robert (Naomi) Parker, Route 1; three stepsons, Raymond Cook, Chillicothe, and Homer Cook, Route 8; four grandchildren; several stepgrandchildren; a sister. Mrs. W. B. (Dorothy) Richardson, Route 7; and two brothers, John and James both of Route 7.
He was predeceased by his father, Mitchell Hutchison, his first wife, Viola Hutchison, in 1960; and two daughters, Goldie and Camay.
