Bill R. Harris, 60, died Aug. 18, 2007, at his home in Sikeston.
Born Feb. 6, 1947, in Sikeston, son of Dorothy Abbott Cobb, he attended the Gray Ridge Baptist Church and worked for Tyson Foods before his retirement.
On Dec. 30, 1977, he married Alma Coatney, who survives of the home.
In addition to his wife and mother, survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Amber Harris and several nieces.
One brother and three sisters preceded him in death.
Visitation was at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, where services were conducted with The Rev. Robert Lafferty, pastor of Gray Ridge Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial followed in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
Pallbearers were: Timothy Harris, Wesley Westmoreland, Leonard Byrd, Billy Kingery, Tom Coatney and Dustin Nall.
