My great-aunt
Ella was one of my paternal great-aunts. I remember going to her house and she would always have cookies and lemonade for my brother and I. She was a very nice lady.
Ella Edwards married Tullio Negrelli on April 27, 1938 in South Bend, Indiana. They had one son.
Ella M. Negrelli, 85, of Hobart, IN, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2001. A lifelong Hobart and Gary resident, she was born September 20, 1915 in Hobart, IN to the late Alfred and Adelade Edwards. She was a former employee of the Anderson Company and a Homemaker. She is survived by one son, David T. (Patricia) Negrelli of Hobart, IN.; sister Madelyn Edwards of Alexandria, VA., two grandsons, David A. (Jennifer) Negrelli of DeMotte, IN., Dr. Mathew (Leslie) Negrelli of Columbus; seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Tullio; granddaughter, Victoria; and many brothers and sisters from the Hobart and Valparaiso area. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
Funeral services will be 9:00 AM Friday, March 9, 2001 at the Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart with Rev. Robert B. Evers and Rev. Richard Brown officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Thursday, from 2 to 4PM and 6 to 8PM at the Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
