William Bryant Lee, 68, a retired farmer, died at 8:10am Thursday at the Orangeburg Regional Hospital after being in declining health for some time. Funeral services will be held at 10:30am Friday at the Thompson Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Melvin Sargent officiating. Burial will be in the St. George Baptist Church cemetery, near Bolentown. Pallbearers will be Leonard Lee, Albert Lee, Wilson Lee, Johnnie Lee. Carl Mize and Robert Milhouse. Mr. Lee was a son of the late Jacob B. and May Jane Ha(y)den Lee, of near Orangeburg. Surviving are three brothers, Lola P. Lee and W. S. Lee, Jr. both of Orangeburg and John Lee of Washington, DC.; three neices, Miss Lucille Lee, Mrs Gary (Nellie) Brooker and Mrs Nortise (Mollie) Whisenhunt, all of Orangeburg; four nephews, Wilson and Herbert Lee, both of Orangeburg, Sawyer Lee of Greenville and Johnnie Lee of Charlotte, and a number of other nieces and nephews. © The Times and Democrat, Orangeburg, SC, 24 Dec 1965
