Jerome was a member of Beals Wesleyan Church and Jonesport Lodge No. 188 AM & AF. He worked as a lobster fishermen for more than 60 years, while at the same time he owned and operated a general store for 20 years and clam shops in Beals and Jonesport. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and especially spending time with his great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Harry L. Crowley Jr.
