Eva Marie Germaine Bougeois was born january, 1898 Le Bois Plage en Re, Charente Maritime, France. Her mother was Julienne Noelle (Gourmel) Bougeois. She met American soldier Allen SUNDERLIN (first husband) during WWI in France (presumably La Rochelle) and sailed to meet and marry him in New York in the late summer of 1920. They resided East of Vancouver, Washington (Skamania) and had 5 children. They were divorced (may have been twice) before she eventually married Charles Sawdey.
