Eunice Estelle Huckabay, 96, of Rector passed away Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010, at the National Health Care in Kennett, Mo.

She was born Jan. 14, 1914, to W.W. and Cora (Moss) French in Rector, Ark.

Preceding Eunice in death were her parents; her husband, Marvin Huckabay; two sisters, Mildred Inez and Hazel Bishop, a grandchild and a great-grandchild.

Surviving members of her family are three sons and their wives, Donald and Kay Huckabay of Rector, Eugene and Theresa Huckabay of Paragould and James and Pat Huckabay of Paragould; two daughters and their husbands, Esperita and Clay Charieton of Paragould and Wordia and Albert Vangilder of Pine Bluff; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren, along with a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010, at the Irby Funeral Home in Rector with Bro. Don Morris and Bro. Kenny Burns officiating. Interment was at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29, at the funeral home.
