Martha May Hatch Jones, slipped peacefully into her eternal rest on the anniversary of her 100th birthday, May 25, 2006.
She was born May 25, 1906, to Alva Leroy and Martha Edmunds Hatch, in Gateway, CO.
She married Owen Edward Jones June 30, 1925 in Duchesne, UT. Martha and Owen were married for 70 years prior to his death on January 1, 1996.
Survived by her four children and spouses; Marvin C. (Jeanne) Jones, Clinton, UT; Gerald H. (Janice) Jones, Layton, UT; Nila J. (Bruce) Robins, Atlanta, GA; Owen
G. (Carole) Jones, St. George, UT; as well as eight grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers, five sisters and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may visit from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary prior to the funeral services.
Interment, Lindquist's Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
