She married first, Robert Morrison on 3 May 1882 in Christ Church, Wisconsin. To this union were born four children: Ray, Ruby Ann, Arthur Elmer and Jessie Maud. She married second, Lewis Winthrop on Nov. 20, 1895. They were the parents of Laura Winthrop. She died in Seattle in 1938 at the age of 67 years.
