Marilyn K. Rennolett, 73, of Peoria passed away at 4:15 a.m. Friday, July 16, 2010, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

She was born July 9, 1937, in Chillicothe, Ill., the daughter of Raymond and Mary (Buttell) Hammer. She married Adolph "Bill" Rennolett on July 29, 1961, in Peoria, Ill. He survives.

Surviving are her children, Anthony W. Rennolett of Chillicothe, Michael E. (Elizabeth) Rennolett of Peoria, Julie J. Seaver of Chillicothe and Timothy E. (Joanna) Rennolett of Peoria; nine grandchildren; one sister, Jeanne (Larry) Duckworth of Chicago; and one brother, John (Kathy) Hammer of Chillicothe.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, John R. Rennolett.

Marilyn was a registered nurse and retired as the director of nursing at Parkhill Medical Complex. She previously worked in Dr. Hart's office and as a charge nurse at OSF.

She enjoyed taking care of her kids and loved to fish, camp and travel with her husband.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 20, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe, with recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Edward Catholic Church in Chillicothe. Fr. Glenn H. Harris will officiate. Burial will be in Chillicothe City Cemetery.
